Job Summary: Seeking Contracted Mental Health Therapist as stipulated by the Ohio Counselor, Social Worker, and Marriage and Family Therapist Board. The duties performed include psychosocial assessment of individuals, adolescents, families, and groups, and clinical social work/counseling interventions as appropriate for client needs. This position offers supervision to complete the 3,000 hours of supervised clinical work required by the Ohio Counselor, Social Worker, and Marriage and Family Therapist Board to obtain the clinical endorsement required to practice independently.

Responsibilities:

1. Conducts initial comprehensive psychosocial assessment for patients, which includes individuals, adolescents, families, groups, etc.
2. Communicates with staff regarding assessment, treatment/interventions and interdisciplinary care plan through documentation and meetings.
3. Demonstrates knowledge and skills necessary to provide competent care for patients served regardless of age.
4. Provides consultation and collaboration with hospitals and community professionals and programs to provide the most appropriate and comprehensive care for patients.
5. Consistent use of evidence-based intervention modalities (CBT, DBT, etc.) and risk assessment tools for ongoing mental health treatment and crisis intervention.

Technical Expertise:

1. Experience working with electronic medical record systems (Simple Practice) preferred.
2. Experience in Microsoft Office [Outlook, Excel, Word] preferred.
3. Experience providing clinical services through telehealth.

Education and Experience:

1. Master’s Degree in Social Work or Clinical Mental/Behavioral Health Counseling is required.
2. Licensed Social Worker (LSW), Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor (LPCC), Licensed Independent Social Worker (LISW) or Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (MFT) required.
