Job summary

Diamond Rehab is seeking a full-time Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) to join our therapy team at Westwood Manor in DeRidder, Louisiana. The position requires graduation from an accredited OTA program and NBCOT certification; licensure in Texas or eligibility is required.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited OTA program.
• NBCOT certification required.
• Licensed or eligible for licensure in Texas.

Responsibilities

• Assist in therapy sessions under supervision of an OTR to implement treatment plans and assist patients with exercises and activities.
• Assist with gathering patient information, documenting progress, and reporting changes to the supervising OTR.
• Collaborate with the OTR to develop and modify individualized treatment plans based on patient needs and progress.
• Instruct patients and families on home exercises to support recovery and independence.
• Maintain accurate patient records in compliance with healthcare regulations and facility standards.
