Kalahari Resorts & Conventions in Sandusky, OH is seeking a licensed Spa Cosmetologist to deliver professional hair styling, cosmetics, and skin treatments with a strong emphasis on cleanliness and guest service.

You will maintain high sanitation standards, educate guests on options, and contribute to an extraordinary guest experience in a resort setting that values love and hospitality.

Qualifications

• 2 years minimum spa/salon/stylist experience preferred.
• Leadership styling rooted in collaboration, respect, and service to others.
• Thorough knowledge of hair and skin; excellent cleanliness and sanitation skills.
• Willing to train in the spa’s specific facial, hair and skin treatment offerings.

Responsibilities

• Provide consistent professional styling of hair, including color, texture, and restorative treatments.
• Provide cosmetics services—shape, trim, eyebrows, and facial hair removal as appropriate.
• Provide skin treatments by applying masks, creams, exfoliants, and moisturizers.
• Care for equipment and use products to manage costs.
• Maintain knowledge of all services and products while educating guests.

Kalahari Resorts & Conventions is seeking aLicensed Spa Cosmetologist.In this role, you willbe responsible foradministering professionalhair styling, cutting, chemical services, restorative treatments, as well asapplycosmetics, & skin treatments with an emphasis on cleanliness, sanitation, & excellent guest services.

This is a commission-based position

Key Responsibilities

• Provide consistent professionalstyling of hair, to include but not limitedto: color, bleach,frostor condition hair, adding hairpieces and weaves, relaxers, texturizers, perms, and restorative treatments
• Provide consistent professional cosmetics that areappropriate forthe client’s coloring and skin tone, shape, trim,pluckand color eyebrows, orassistin the removal of unwanted facial hair.
• Provide consistent professional skin treatments by selecting,applyingor recommending masks, anti-age creams,exfoliate, and moisturizers that best suit the guests’ needs.
• Properly care for equipment and use proper amounts ofproducttoassistwith cost controls.
• Have complete knowledge and understanding of all services and products while educating and training guests in these areas.

What We’re Looking For

• 2 yearsminimumspa/salon/stylist experience preferred
• A leadership stylerootedin collaboration, respect, and service to others.
• Mustpossessthorough knowledge of hair and skin and have excellent cleanliness and sanitation skills and be willing to train in the spa’s specific facial,hairand skin treatment offerings
