Job summary

Resident-Salon-Services is seeking a Licensed Cosmetologist for a part-time Resident Hair Specialist role in Milford Charter Township, MI. No weekends or evenings, allowing a balanced schedule while delivering compassionate, personalized hair services to our senior residents.

In this role you will perform consultations, cuts, styling, chemical services, and maintain a clean, safe salon space, building relationships with residents and families and upholding dignity and comfort in every visit.

Qualifications

• Current Cosmetology License required.
• Minimum 3 years’ licensed experience in cosmetology.
• Experience with senior clientele preferred.
• Proficiency in haircutting, styling, and chemical services.
• Strong attention to detail and sanitation practices.
• Excellent communication and empathetic demeanor.

Responsibilities

• Provide consultations, haircuts, styling, chemical treatments for senior residents.
• Offer gentle, patient care considering mobility and comfort.
• Educate residents on age-appropriate hair care and maintenance.

What We’re Looking For:

• Current Cosmetology License (required).
• Minimum of 3 years’ licensed experience in cosmetology.
• Experience working with senior clientele is preferred but not required.
• Proficiency in haircutting, styling, and chemical services.
• Strong attention to detail and sanitation practices.
