Madison Reed is hiring a Licensed Colorist in Laguna Niguel, CA. The role supports guest consultations, color services, and product recommendations, reporting to the Manager. The position can be full or part time depending on business needs, with availability at peak times.

Compensation includes base hourly pay, commissions, and tips; potential earnings range from $43 - $45 per hour, depending on performance, tenure, and hours worked behind the chair.

Qualifications

• Active cosmetology license in the applying state.
• 1+ year of colorist experience behind the chair in a salon.
• Excellent communication and people skills in a fast-paced retail or salon.
• Experience operating point of sale systems.
• English fluency.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrate teamwork to deliver guest experiences aligned with company values.
• Provide consultations and all services on the menu with top quality to 100% guest satisfaction.
• Assist guests in selecting products and color while staying on time for bookings.
• Contribute to achieving monthly sales goals including retail, services, and memberships.
• Maintain cleanliness, merchandising, inventory, and asset security at the Hair Color Bar.
• Adhere to Madison Reed systems, policies, processes and procedures.
• Increase revenue through service tickets, memberships, subscriptions, home care products.
• Grow professionally through ongoing training and product knowledge.
• Support training of Assistant Colorists through coaching.
