Job summary

Madison Reed Hair Color Bar in Laguna Niguel, CA is seeking a Licensed Colorist to deliver exceptional guest care, consultations, and color services. You’ll help guests choose colors, perform services from the menu, and promote products and memberships.

This role reports to the Manager and can be full or part time. Expect a fast-paced environment with emphasis on cleanliness, teamwork, and guest satisfaction; compensation includes hourly pay, commissions, and tips ranging from $43–$45/hour.

Qualifications

• Active cosmetology license in the applying state.
• 1+ year of experience as a colorist behind the chair in a salon.
• Effective communication and people skills in a fast-paced retail/salon.
• Comfortable operating point of sale systems.
• Fluency in English.

Responsibilities

• Provide consultations and all services on the menu, including color services and styling.
• Assist guests in selecting products and color while staying on schedule.
• Help achieve monthly sales goals through retail, services, and memberships.
• Maintain cleanliness, merchandising, inventory, and asset security.
• Adhere to Madison Reed systems, policies, processes, and procedures.
• Support training of Assistant Colorists through coaching and care.
