Job summary

Madison Reed in Roseville, CA is seeking a Licensed Colorist who delivers quality services and exceptional guest care, helping guests choose the best color and executing services with precision. This role offers base hourly pay plus commissions and tips, with earnings ranging from $28 to $30 per hour at this location.

Availability at peak times is required to best serve guest needs. You will work under the Manager and contribute to a clean, organized salon while growing with ongoing product

Qualifications

• Active cosmetology license in the state where applying.
• 1+ year of experience as a colorist behind the chair in a salon.
• Strong communication and people skills in a fast-paced retail or salon environment.
• Comfortable operating point-of-sale systems.
• Fluency in English.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrate and develop teamwork skills to provide a guest experience aligned with our values.
• Provide consultations and all services offered on the menu, including styling and color services, to high quality and guest satisfaction.
• Be attentive to guest needs to help select products and color, while staying flexible to bookings.
• Contribute to achieving monthly sales goals including retail, services, and memberships.
• Ensure Hair Color Bar meets standards for cleanliness, merchandising, inventory and asset security.
• Adhere to policies and procedures for Madison Reed systems.
• Drive Hair Color Bar revenue through increasing average service tickets and memberships.
• Grow within Madison Reed by participating in training and staying updated on MR products.
• Support the training and development of Assistant Colorists through coaching.
