Job summary

Qualifications

• Must possess a valid STNA license per state requirements.
• Minimum 10th grade education.
• CPR certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide routine daily nursing care and services per resident care plan and supervisor instructions.
• Identify residents before procedures and document information using approved abbreviations.
• Report changes in resident condition to Nurse Supervisor/Charge Nurse promptly.
• Maintain accurate flow sheets, charts and notes; ensure confidentiality of resident information.
• Assist with daily living activities and mobility as trained; ensure safety and comfort of residents.
• Support with preparing residents for tests and examinations and assist with transfers or discharges as needed.
• Follow facility policies on exposure to blood, body fluids, and hazardous materials and participate in nursing shifts reporting.
