Job summary

Southern California Alcohol and Drug Programs, Inc. (SCADP) seeks a Licensed Clinician Outpatient Compliance under Clinical Regional Director supervision to assess clients, evaluate medical necessity for treatment services, and provide therapy.

The clinician must be certified by the California Board of Behavioral Sciences (MFT or CSW) and work within a team to meet patient needs. The role emphasizes adherence to ASAM criteria, HIPAA, and CARF standards, with field-based services as required and

Qualifications

• Fingerprint clearance background check with criminal history, references, and verifications.
• Master's degree in Human Services, Social Work, or Psychology from an accredited graduate school.
• Current California BBS MFT or CSW certification is required.
• Experience in Alcohol and Drug residential treatment and in dealing with mental health symptoms.
• Preferred certifications CCAPP/CADTP/CADEE and bilingual capacity in English and Spanish.

Responsibilities

• Complete daily census with tasks due for AOD clinical staff.
• Monitor authorizations, submit and monitor for issues; support the Sage EHR processes.
• Collaborate with Regional Clinical Director on compliance and daily census; provide coverage at other sites as needed.
• Monitor issues with Sage EHR documentation and report to Program Manager and Regional Clinical Director.
• Deliver treatment using trauma-informed approaches and evidence-based practice protocols.
• Provide individual, group, and family therapeutic counseling; document all treatment in EHR and client files.
