Position Summary:

Freedom House Recovery Center is seeking a dedicated, Fully Remote Licensed Clinician to provide telehealth-based behavioral health services to individuals with substance use and co-occurring mental health disorders. The ideal candidate will possess strong clinical skills, experience working with diverse populations, and a commitment to delivering person-centered, trauma-informed, evidence-based care.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide individual, family, and/or group therapy via telehealth in alignment with the client’s Person-Centered Plan and licensure scope.

• Participate in the development and revision of treatment plans.

• Facilitate SAIOP (Substance Abuse Intensive Outpatient Program) groups, ensuring adherence to required staff-to-client ratios.

• Deliver education on relapse prevention, substance use, HIV/AIDS, and life skills as assigned.

• Maintain accurate, timely documentation, with all service notes submitted within 24 hours and no later than 7 days.

• Assist clients in accessing community resources, benefits, and wraparound services.

• Provide after-hours crisis response as part of the team’s rotating First Responder schedule (remote support when applicable).

• Complete NC TOPPS assessments and updates as required.

• Conduct remote RRS (Rapid Response Services) intakes and associated service delivery.

• Communicate regularly with treatment team members to ensure coordinated care.

• Attend virtual trainings and supervision sessions as required by agency and credentialing body.

• Uphold all standards related to HIPAA, client confidentiality, and ethical practice.
