Job summary

Phoenix House of New York, Long Island, Brentwood, NY seeks a Licensed Clinician to lead with purpose, elevate clinical quality, and directly influence client outcomes in a high-impact leadership role.

You will develop treatment plans, supervise staff, coordinate across multidisciplinary teams, and ensure clients receive comprehensive, compassionate care across recovery stages. This role shapes care journeys and supports long-term success.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in social work or mental health counseling and NY licensure required.
• Independent license (LCSW/LMSW/LMHC/LPC or equivalent) preferred; CASAC strongly preferred.
• Minimum 3–5 years in substance use disorder treatment; 2+ years in clinical supervision.

Responsibilities

• Develop and refine comprehensive treatment plans addressing mental health and substance use needs.
• Lead interdisciplinary case conferences to ensure high-quality care.
• Deliver individual, group, and workshop-based therapy with the clinical team.
• Provide ongoing supervision, coaching, and staff development.
• Coordinate patient case management with social services, schools, and community providers.
• Oversee clinical documentation, ensure compliance and best practices.
• Support discharge planning and continuity of care.
