Job summary

Qualifications

• Master's degree in psychology, social work, or other related counseling field.
• CPR required within 30 days of employment.
• HSPP, LCSW, LMFT, LCAC, or LMHC required.
• Employee must be able to bill independently for services rendered.
• Licensure and certifications must be kept current.

Responsibilities

• Performs as an independent and interdependent member of the Parkview health care team in accordance with the Indiana Behavioral Health and Human Services Licensing Board.
• Assumes mental health care of specific patients in collaboration with the physician and nursing staff.
• Gives specific patient care directions and support to staff.
• Utilizes therapeutic skills and techniques to assess the psychosocial functioning of patients, intervention strategies, psychoeducation and/or individual, group, marital or family therapy.
