Job summary

Missouri Behavioral Health in Springfield is seeking a licensed clinical therapist for a full-time, onsite role delivering individualized mental health and addiction treatment. You will conduct assessments, develop treatment plans, and provide therapy in person and via secure telehealth platforms.

You will monitor progress, collaborate with case managers and medical providers, maintain documentation, and contribute to program development in a recovery-oriented, trauma-informed setting.

Qualifications

• Clinical expertise in mental health and psychology, including assessment and evidence-based interventions.
• Background in social work and case management, with service coordination and advocacy.
• Experience in family therapy and addressing relational dynamics in recovery.
• Licensed in MO or eligible for licensure transfer (e.g., LCSW, LPC, LMFT, Psychologist).
• Experience with substance use disorders and co-occurring mental health conditions.
• Strong telehealth skills and proficiency with EHR and secure video platforms.
• Excellent communication and documentation, with ability to work independently in a remote setting.
• Master's or doctoral degree in related behavioral health field.
• Commitment to trauma-informed, culturally responsive care.

Responsibilities

• Conduct clinical assessments and formulate individualized treatment plans.
• Deliver individual, family, and group therapy sessions in person and via telehealth.
• Monitor client progress, adjust interventions as needed, and document outcomes.
• Collaborate with case managers, medical providers, and team members for coordinated care.
• Maintain accurate clinical documentation and participate in interdisciplinary meetings.
• Contribute to program development and provide psychoeducation to clients and families.
