Job summary

Life Changes Group, part of UnitedHealth Group, seeks a Licensed Clinical Therapist to join our Cambridge, MA team and deliver evidence-based mental health care to a diverse patient population.

As part of the Optum Behavioral Care team, you will screen and treat patients, maintain EMR records, and support growth strategies with online profiles. A Master’s in psychology or social work and MA licensure are required; 2+ years of experience preferred.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in psychology, social work, or related counseling field.
• Active, unrestricted MA license LICSW/LMHC/LMFT.
• 2+ years of professional behavioral health services experience.
• Experience providing direct psychotherapy to individuals and families.
• Proficiency with Excel, Outlook and EMR systems such as Athena RMS.

Responsibilities

• Screen and assess patients for mental health and substance use disorders.
• Provide treatment using CBT, DBT and other evidence-based methods.
• Track treatment response and monitor symptoms and side effects.
• Maintain accurate EMR and clinical documentation per regulatory requirements.
• Contribute to patient growth by creating profiles for online directories and marketing.
