Job summary

Greater Philadelphia Health Action, Inc. (GPHA) is seeking a full-time Clinical Therapist in our Behavioral Healthcare Division in Philadelphia, PA.

The role involves conducting initial and ongoing assessments, developing treatment plans, and delivering individual and group therapy to patients with mental health and substance use concerns. Must hold a Master’s degree in a Human Services field and have at least two years of related experience; PA licensure as LCSW, LPC, or LMFT is required.

Qualifications

• Must have a Master’s degree in Human Services field or related field.
• Two years of experience in substance abuse or related field.
• Must have a current license to practice in Pennsylvania as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker, Licensed Professional Counselor, or Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist.

Responsibilities

• Completion of initial and ongoing assessments, comprehensive evaluations and treatment planning for clients.
• Providing individual, marital, couple, family and group therapy for clients with DSM/ICD diagnoses and related concerns.
• Collaboration with treatment team, family, and community agency personnel to coordinate treatment.
• Maintenance of accurate documentation of service activities and client progress as required by state, county and GPHA.

Education

Master’s degree in Human Services field or related field

Two years of experience in substance abuse or related field
