Job summary

Greater Philadelphia Health Action (GPHA) seeks a dedicated Family Peer Specialist to support Intensive Behavioral Health Services in our Behavioral Healthcare Division in Philadelphia. You will share recovery experiences to build authentic peer relationships and assist clients in navigating treatment and community resources.

The role requires either a Bachelor's in Psychology or related field with three years of administrative experience in mental health/addiction services and peer

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Psychology or related field is required for the role.
• Three years of administrative experience in substance abuse/mental health settings with peer specialist certification is required.
• Alternatively, a High School Diploma with peer specialist certification and knowledge of addiction/recovery is accepted.

Responsibilities

• Share personal recovery experiences to build authentic peer-to-peer relationships.
• Support clients in navigating Intensive Behavioral Health Services (IBHS) and related resources.
• Comply with CIS performance standards and promote recovery-oriented beliefs.

Education

Bachelor's degree in Psychology or related field
