The Stepping Stones Group is seeking a compassionate Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) to join our full-time school-based team in Frederick, MD. You will provide individual and group counseling, addressing students’ social, emotional, and mental health needs while collaborating with educators and families to support student success.

Ideal candidates hold an MSW and Maryland LCSW license, with experience in school-based or pediatric behavioral health settings.

Qualifications

• MSW from an accredited program.
• Active Maryland LCSW-C or LCSW license.
• Fingerprints on file with district.
• Experience with children, adolescents, and families preferred.
• School-based, behavioral health, or pediatric experience preferred.
• Knowledge of crisis intervention, behavioral support strategies, and SEL practices.
• Strong communication, collaboration, and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide individual and group counseling to students.
• Support students experiencing social, emotional, behavioral, and mental health challenges.
• Conduct assessments and assist in developing intervention and support plans.
• Provide crisis intervention and behavioral health support as needed.
• Collaborate with teachers, administrators, families, and community partners to support student success.
• Connect students and families with school and community-based resources.
• Support social-emotional learning initiatives and positive behavioral interventions.
• Participate in multidisciplinary meetings, student support teams, and educational planning.
• Maintain accurate documentation, case notes, and compliance records.

The Stepping Stones Group is seeking a compassionate and experienced Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) to join our full-time school-based team in Frederick, MD.
