UC San Diego's Center for Healthy Eating and Activity Research in the Department of Pediatrics seeks a licensed psychologist to lead behavioral treatment trials for overweight and obesity across children, adolescents, and adults. You will oversee treatment delivery, formulate plans, and supervise both predoctoral and postdoctoral trainees at CHEAR.

• Must have PhD or PsyD in Clinical Psychology with one year of post-doctoral experience or equivalent.
• Must be licensed as a Psychologist by the State of California.
• Minimum of 3 years of clinical work with children, adolescents and/or adults.
• Experience in obesity and/or eating disorders treatment.
• Proven experience in comprehensive psychiatric evaluations and psychological testing.
• Experience in therapy and formulating diverse treatment plans.
• Evidence of serving as a resource person and training others.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and be flexible.
• Strong interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills.

Responsabilidades

• Oversee behavioral therapy trials for overweight/obese individuals and those with binge eating.
• Formulate treatment plans and conduct individual and group therapy sessions.
• Train, supervise, and provide oversight to graduate students and staff.
• Coordinate with treatment team and prepare clinical reports.
• Recruit and evaluate training programs; collaborate with CHEAR training programs.
