MD Behavioral Health in Lexington Park, MD seeks a Child & Adolescent therapist to provide individual and group therapy, assessments, and collaborative treatment planning. Hybrid in-person hours are required, with licensure progressing as needed.

The role emphasizes working with diverse populations, knowledge of psychopharmacology, and strong communication to build rapport with clients and families. Experience with data collection and research is preferred.

Qualificações

• Master's degree in Mental Health Counseling or related field.
• Valid state licensure or application in progress.

Responsabilidades

• Provide individual and group therapy sessions.

• Seeking a Child & Adolescent therapist

Requirements:

• Ability to see clients of all ages especially Children and Adolescents
• Master's degree in Mental Health Counseling or related field.
• Valid state licensure as a Mental Health Therapist or application to get one
• Experience working with diverse populations
• Knowledge of psychopharmacology and its application in mental health therapy.
• Strong understanding of gender issues and the ability to provide counseling in this area.
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to build rapport with clients.
• Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
• Experience in clinical research, data collection, and coding is preferred but not required.
