Qualifications

• Proven experience working with children and adolescents in outpatient or inpatient mental health settings.
• Expertise in psychotherapy techniques such as motivational interviewing, behavioral therapy, psychodynamic therapy, grief counseling, PTSD care, addiction counseling, and crisis management.
• Familiarity with ICD-9/ICD-10 coding for diagnostic evaluation and medical documentation.
• Experience with developmental disabilities or autism spectrum disorder (ASD), including behavior management and ABA.
• Telehealth experience is preferred and HIPAA compliant documentation.

Responsabilités

• Conduct comprehensive clinical assessments and diagnostic evaluations using ICD-10 coding to determine treatment plans for children and adolescents.
• Deliver individual, group, and family counseling using CBT, psychodynamic therapy, art therapy, DBT, TF-CBT, ERP, EMDR.
• Implement crisis intervention strategies to manage acute mental health episodes and ensure safety.
• Utilize telehealth to provide remote therapy sessions with HIPAA-compliant care.
• Collaborate with social workers, educators, pediatricians, and case managers to coordinate care.
• Maintain accurate documentation and progress notes in line with HIPAA and CPT standards.
• Engage in clinical research and data collection to enhance treatment efficacy in pediatric behavioral health.

Job Summary:

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Clinical Child/Adolescent Psychotherapist to join our dynamic mental health team. In this role, you will provide evidence-based psychotherapy services to children and adolescents facing a variety of emotional, behavioral, and developmental challenges. Your expertise will support young clients in overcoming mental health issues, fostering resilience, and promoting overall well-being. Responsibilities:

• Conduct comprehensive clinical assessments and diagnostic evaluations using ICD-10 coding standards to determine appropriate treatment plans for children and adolescents.
• Deliver individual, group, and family counseling sessions utilizing modalities such as cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), psychodynamic therapy, art therapy, DBT, TF-CBT, ERP, EMDR.
• Implement crisis intervention strategies to manage acute mental health episodes effectively while ensuring safety and stability for clients.
• Utilize telehealth platforms to provide remote therapy sessions, maintaining HIPAA compliance and ensuring seamless patient care across different settings.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams including social workers, special educators, pediatricians, and case managers to coordinate comprehensive care plans.
• Maintain accurate medical documentation, medical records, and detailed progress notes in accordance with HIPAA regulations and CPT coding standards.
• Engage in ongoing clinical research and data collection to enhance treatment efficacy and contribute to evidence-based practices within pediatric behavioral health.

Experience:

• Proven experience working with children and adolescents in outpatient or inpatient mental health settings.
• Demonstrated expertise in psychotherapy techniques such as motivational interviewing, behavioral therapy, psychodynamic therapy, grief counseling, PTSD care, addiction counseling, and crisis management.
• Familiarity with ICD-9/ICD-10 coding for diagnostic evaluation and medical documentation.
• Experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities or autism spectrum disorder (ASD), including behavior management and applied behavior analysis (ABA).
• Knowledge of medical terminology related to pediatrics, Geriatrics (if applicable), chronic pain counseling, gender issues counseling, and special education needs.
• Telehealth experience is highly preferred to facilitate flexible patient access while maintaining high standards of patient care.
