Job summary

Excel Fluid Group is seeking a Civil Engineer (PE) to join as an in-person, full-time role. The engineer will review opportunities early, provide practical engineering recommendations, and help move projects from initial review to clearly scoped solutions.

The role requires an active PE license and experience in water/wastewater and pump station contexts. The successful candidate will support the BD team by commenting on design considerations, identifying risks, and ensuring technically sound,

Qualifications

• Active Professional Engineer license required (Civil PE or PE with relevant water/wastewater/site development experience).
• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or related field.
• 5+ years of relevant civil/water/wastewater/infrastructure engineering experience.

Responsibilities

• Review specifications, drawings, and project data early to evaluate feasibility and risk.
• Provide practical design comments and engineering recommendations for BD discussions.
• Translate customer needs and site conditions into technically sound system solutions.
• Assess hydraulic, civil, electrical, structural, and site considerations before proposals.
• Prepare early-stage documentation including technical summaries and assumptions.
• Prepare design reports and review packages for internal or external review.
• Participate in client calls and site visits to support technical credibility.
• Collaborate with BD, Project Sales, and internal/external engineers on refined designs.
• Support stamping of applicable work where licensure allows.
• Maintain knowledge of EFG products and industry standards.
