Job summary

Olsson is seeking a Licensed Civil Engineer focused on site design and municipal projects. You will serve as project manager on small projects, prepare planning and design documents, and perform design calculations.

You may travel to job sites and coordinate with Olsson teams and clients. You bring a bachelor’s in civil engineering or landscape architecture with at least 4 years of experience and PE or licensure.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering or landscape architecture required.
• Minimum of 4 years of engineering experience.
• Must be a registered professional engineer or registered landscape architect.
• AutoCAD Civil 3D experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Performs engineering duties related to evaluating, designing, and constructing plans for small to large projects.
• Assist with preparation of project documents, and manage project scope, schedule, and budget.
• Perform design calculations and analyze reports to estimate costs and feasibility.
• Apply standard techniques to coordinate project design aspects.
• Communicate project development and progress with managers and clients.
• Enter and maintain project information and client records in the firm’s PM system.
• Evaluate and propose adaptations to standard methods for assignment components.
• May supervise and provide technical guidance to less experienced staff.
