Job summary

Olsson, a multidisciplinary design firm, seeks a licensed Civil Engineer to independently manage land development projects from conception to completion. You will perform design calculations, develop scopes, and travel to sites for observation.

The role offers flexible work options including remote or hybrid schedules, with possible employment in any Olsson office in the area. Travel to job sites and client meetings may be required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in civil engineering required.
• Minimum of 4 years of related civil engineering experience.
• Proficient in Civil 3D software.
• Must be a registered professional engineer (PE).

Responsibilities

• Performs engineering duties related to evaluating, designing, and constructing plans for projects.
• Assists with preparation of project documents and is knowledgeable of project scope, schedule, and budget.
• Performs cost estimates and feasibility analyses of projects.
• Coordinates design aspects and communicates progress with project managers/clients.
• Maintains project information in the firm’s project management system.
• Supervises and provides guidance to junior staff as needed.
