Within the Division for Student Affairs, The Student Health Center ( SHC ), a multidisciplinary, integrated, student healthcare service, serves as the primary mental health agency for GW students. One of our missions is to support students’ mental health and personal development by collaborating directly with students to overcome difficulties and challenges that may interfere with their academic, emotional, and personal success.
The Student Health Center seeks a Licensed Case Manager to manage client wellness and autonomy through advocacy, communication, education and the identification and facilitation of services. The Licensed Case Manager reports to the Lead Psychiatrist and to the Director of CAPS .
Performs other duties as assigned. The omission of specific duties does not preclude the supervisor from assigning duties that are logically related to the position.
Qualified candidates will hold an advanced degree in a mental health discipline (psychology, social work, or counseling), plus one (1) year of relevant professional experience. A license in Washington, D.C. is required or must be obtained within six months of hire.
Must hold an active, unrestricted license in mental health (eg. LGSW , ICWS , LPC , LGPC , LMFT , etc.) in the District of Columbia within six months of hire.
