Job summary

U.S. Facilities, Inc. is seeking a full-time Building Engineer for our maintenance team in Prince George's County, Maryland. You will operate, maintain, and repair mechanical systems in commercial and industrial facilities to keep environments safe, efficient, and client-ready.

The ideal candidate has 3+ years of maintenance experience, a Maryland 1st Class Stationary Engineer License, and EPA 608 Universal Certification, with strong communication and problem-solving skills.

Qualifications

• Strong knowledge of heating, ventilation and air conditioning systems.
• Experience operating building automation systems.
• Ability to read blueprints and interpret layouts.

Responsibilities

• Repair and maintain heating, cooling, and ventilation systems.
• Perform advanced HVAC tasks on piping, motors, controllers and chilled water.
• Maintain air handlers and mechanical equipment (filters, belts, coil cleaning).
• Operate and maintain equipment such as exhaust fans, valves, refrigeration systems.
• Read blueprints and layouts; respond to emergencies as needed.
