Job summary

Attain Behavioral Health Beachwood seeks a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) or Licensed Social Worker (LSW) to join as a Behavioral Health Clinical Counselor. You will provide individual, group, and family therapy to clients with mental health and substance use disorders within a multidisciplinary team.

Responsibilities include biopsychosocial assessments, evidence-based counseling, and collaborative treatment planning, while maintaining HIPAA-compliant documentation and state regulations.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Counseling or related field; active Ohio LPC/LSW license.
• At least 3 years of mental health or substance use counseling experience.
• Skills in CBT, DBT, and motivational interviewing.
• Experience in assessments and treatment plan development.
• Knowledge of Medicaid and private insurance processes is a plus.
• Bilingual abilities are advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Conduct biopsychosocial assessments and diagnostic evaluations.
• Provide individual, group, and family counseling.
• Develop and monitor personalized treatment plans.
• Maintain HIPAA-compliant records and documentation.
• Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other clinical staff.
• Stay updated with continuing education and licensure requirements.
