Job summary

VHC Health in Arlington, VA seeks a licensed Clinical Therapist for the Behavioral Health Unit to provide individual and group counseling, develop treatment plans, and coordinate care across disciplines.

Two years of behavioral health experience and VA licensure (LCSW/LPC/LMFT/LSATP or psychologist) are required. The role includes supervision of students and active involvement in discharge planning and program development.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in social work, psychology, counseling, or related field.
• Two years of behavioral health experience.
• Virginia license or eligibility: LCSW, LPC, LMFT, LSATP, or LMFT/psychologist.
• Knowledge of ASAM standards and ISP documentation.
• Ability to collaborate with physicians, staff, and families.

Responsibilities

• Provide individual and group counseling to patients.
• Conduct assessments, develop and monitor treatment plans.
• Supervise students and trainees as requested by the program.
• Participate in discharge planning and care coordination.
• Maintain accurate records and report outcomes in line with regulations.
