Job summary

AccessHealth is seeking a Clinical Therapist to deliver psychotherapy to individuals, couples, families and groups within an integrated behavioral health program. The role involves 10-12 session engagements, collaboration with other professionals, and advocacy to resolve crises.

Qualifications

• Master’s Degree from an accredited college/university is required.
• Must possess a valid LCSW, LPC or LMFT license.
• Experience in behavioral health is required.
• High ethical standards are required.
• Well-organized and self-directed.
• Maintains strict patient confidentiality.
• Ability to handle multiple projects.
• Ability to work with people of all socioeconomic levels and cultures.
• Must be a consumer advocate for quality health care and service.

Responsibilities

• Provide psychotherapy services to AccessHealth clients (individuals, couples, families and groups) as part of an integrated behavioral health program.
• Conduct a series of 10-12 sessions with identified clients to assess need, explore issues and build trust.
• Collaborate with other professionals to evaluate clients’ medical or physical condition and assess client needs.
• Advocate for clients to resolve crises.
• Monitor, evaluate, and record client progress to include measurable goals described in treatment/care plan, modifying treatment/care plans as needed.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date client case records and files as well as demographics, needs, and services rendered.
• Produce completed encounter form for each client encounter.
• Identify environmental impediments to client or patient progress through interviews and review of patient records.
• Keep abreast of developments in theory and research.
• Must maintain professional licensure.
• Provides short term behavioral health intervention to AccessHealth patients as needed.
• Participate in behavioral health team meetings and case staffing meetings.
• Liaison between AccessHealth and other social services agencies.
• Comply with all company policies, procedures and regulatory requirements.
• Performs all other duties as assigned by management.
