Job summary
Family Care Center in Denver, CO is seeking an independently licensed behavioral health clinician to provide counseling and mental health services, including assessments, diagnosis, and treatment of mental health disorders. You will coordinate referrals for higher levels of care as needed and work with a multidisciplinary team across several clinics.
Key requirements include a Master’s degree in a related field and a state license (LPC, LCSW, or LMFT) with at least 2 years of experience.
Qualifications
- Master's Degree in Social Work, Counseling, Psychology, or a related field required
- Minimum of 2 years of relevant experience with children to geriatric populations
- Experience implementing evidence-based treatments for behavioral health disorders (anxiety, depression, PTSD)
Responsibilities
- Provide mental health counseling in office setting
- Conduct initial assessments and evaluations
- Develop individualized treatment plans based on assessments
- Provide evidence-based counseling using various modalities
- Maintain ethical/legal standards and keep accurate records
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to coordinate care
- Participate in supervision and continuing education
