The Georgia Department of Behavioral Health and Developmental Disabilities seeks a Licensed Behavioral Health Counselor for Community Integration in Augusta. Under supervision, you will counsel individuals and groups, develop treatment plans, and coordinate medication and services to support mental health and recovery.

You will work with clients on prevention, coping skills, and independence, ensuring confidentiality and adherence to DBHDD standards.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in a related field from an accredited college or university and two years of job-related experience; or Bachelor's degree in a related field from an accredited college or university and four years of job-related experience or one year of experience at the lower-level Behavioral Health Counselor 2.

Responsabilités

• Counsel individuals and groups to promote optimum mental health.
• Develop and implement treatment plans based on clinical experience and knowledge.
• Coordinate residents’ medication supplies and monitor inventories and documentation.
• Monitor and evaluate client progress toward measurable goals in treatment plans.
