Job summary

HEALing Community Health is seeking a Licensed Behavioral Health Professional in Atlanta, GA. The role involves providing professional counseling, diagnosing and treating mental, emotional, and addictive disorders, and delivering psychoeducational interventions to diverse clients.

Responsibilities include coordinating ISPs, crisis management, case load development, therapy sessions, and group counseling, with supervision from the CMO.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in social work, counseling, marriage and family therapy, or related field.
• Active and unrestricted Georgia licensure as LCSW, LPC, or LMFT.
• Continuing CME credits to maintain license and board certification.

Responsibilities

• Facilitates and coordinates Individualized Service Plans (ISP) with patients and families.
• Assists consumers and families in managing or preventing crises through planning and intervention.
• Acts as primary coordinator of behavioral health services and links to community resources.
• Develops and manages an individual caseload and conducts therapy sessions.
• Performs comprehensive clinical assessments and prepares discharge documents.
• Participates in team meetings and clinical supervision; ensures quality in medical records.
• Provides phone and in-person assistance to consumers seeking help.
• Facilitates group counseling sessions and completes required documentation.
