Administer individual and group therapy. Maintain thorough and confidential records of observations. Evaluate progress and effectiveness of therapy interventions. Provide patient with information regarding resourceS and therapeutic activities in the community. Work directly with the patient, family, physician and community providers to ensure active and collaborate care from the initiation of treatment to the time of discharge. Requirements Licensure / Certification / Registration: One or more of the following required: Counselor credentialed from the Oklahoma State Board of Behavioral Health. Social Worker specializing in Clinical Practice credentialed from the Oklahoma State Board of Licensed Social Workers. Oklahoma License (LPC-Licensed Professional Counselor) or (LCSW-Licensed Clinical Social Worker) or (LMFT-Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist) or (LADC/MH - Licensed Alcohol and Drug Counselor/Mental Health Certified) Preferred: BLS Provider preferred. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted. Clinical Counselor preferred. Education: High School diploma equivalency with 2 years of cumulative experience OR Associate's degree/Technical degree OR 4 years of applicable cumulative job specific experience required.
