Preferred Qualifications:

  • Must hold one of the following current and valid licenses or certifications:
    • Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW)
    • Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC)
    • Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC)
    • Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT)
    • Licensed Mental Health Professional (LMHP)

Licensure must be active and in good standing in the state where services will be provided.

Experience in substance abuse counseling or working with individuals affected by substance use disorders.

Work Hours:

  • Position is full-time, Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM (local time zone) during training.
  • After training, work hours shift to 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM (CST).

Position Purpose: Serve as a liaison for external groups and providers regarding clinical information from the Operations and Medical Management teams. Assess and review member clinical records and services related to behavioral health and substance use.

  • Interpret and present program results; develop data-driven analysis and metrics to measure effectiveness and ROI of programs.
  • Partner with staff and departments on provider education and outreach; identify gaps and develop educational efforts.
  • Collaborate with regional leadership on provider reporting, data, and quality incentive payments; facilitate discussions and recommendations.
  • Implement procedures for tracking and resolving operational issues, including provider network, community, and facility concerns, and recommend solutions.
  • Act as the clinical representative in various meetings.
  • Work with staff to identify opportunities and initiate process improvements to enhance quality and satisfaction among staff, providers, and members.
  • Serve as resource and liaison on utilization, quality improvement, and case management activities.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
  • Comply with all policies and standards.

Education/Experience: Master's degree in Social Work or Behavioral Health, or Nursing from an accredited school. 4-6 years of experience in behavioral health outpatient care in a community setting or independent practice. Experience with treatment plan assessment related to mental health and substance abuse, and familiarity with managed care, case management, utilization management, or quality improvement.

License/Certification: LCSW, LMHC, LPC, LMFT, LMHP, or RN licensure required.

Pay Range: $68,700.00 - $123,700.00 per year
