Job summary

Wellstar Health System in Georgia is seeking a Licensed Behavioral Health Assessor to perform comprehensive, face-to-face and tele-mental health assessments in the emergency department and acute care units, coordinating care with physicians and the care team.

You will develop safety plans, assist with discharge planning, document in the electronic medical record, and participate in service line initiatives, with Sat/Sun plus one weeknight 7 PM–7 AM shifts.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Social Work or Counseling.
• GA licensure (LMSW/LCSW/LPC-Preferred).
• Minimum 3 years with adult/child behavioral health.
• Experience with telemedicine and EMR documentation.

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive assessments in-person or via tele-mental health.
• Collaborate with physicians and care team to plan care.
• Develop safety plans and discharge planning.
• Document assessments and contacts in EMR.
• Participate in process improvement and team initiatives.
