Job summary

Springfield Behavioral of Pennsylvania, part of the Optum family, seeks a Licensed Behavioral Clinician (LCSW, LPC, or LMFT) to join our Wyomissing, PA team.

You will diagnose and treat a variety of mental health conditions using evidence-based therapies, maintain EMR documentation, and contribute to outreach and care coordination across our care teams. A minimum of 2+ years post-master's in outpatient settings is expected, with licensure in PA or willingness to obtain.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in psychology, social work, or a related counseling field is required.
• Clear, active and unrestricted license (LCSW, LMFT, or LPC) in Pennsylvania or willingness to obtain.
• 2+ years professional social work/clinical experience post Master’s degree in an outpatient setting.

Responsibilities

• Screen and assess patients for common mental health and substance abuse disorders
• Provide treatment for mental health conditions using cognitive behavioral therapy, dialectical behavior therapy, and other evidence-based methods
• Systematically track treatment response and monitor patients for changes in clinical symptoms and treatment side effects or complications
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date electronic medical records and clinical documentation, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements
• Participate in patient growth strategy by providing a profile for online directories and other marketing efforts

Education
