Job summary

Gersh Autism is seeking a skilled Licensed Assistant Behavior Analyst (LABA) to join our team in Issaquah (Cougar Mountain), WA. You will develop and implement behavior intervention plans, conduct FBAs, and oversee data-driven progress for students with autism.

Collaboration with speech therapists, OTs, and educators is essential to deliver holistic support. The LABA will ensure adherence to state ABA guidelines, maintain clear communication with families, and adapt strategies to each student’s

Qualifications

• Licensed WA LABA (Licensed Assistant Behavior Analyst)
• Enrolled in Master’s in ABA
• Experience with individuals with autism
• Strong verbal and written communication
• Data collection and analysis
• Compassion and empathy
• Collaborative with multidisciplinary teams
• Problem-solving and adaptability
• Flexibility to adjust strategies

Responsibilities

• Assess and evaluate individuals with autism to identify strengths and needs
• Conduct FBAs and develop behavior intervention plans (BIPs)
• Develop and oversee individualized behavior plans
• Implement data collection systems and analyze outcomes
• Provide training to staff, families, and teachers
• Monitor progress and adjust BIPs as needed
• Collaborate with speech, OT, and educational staff to support holistic care
• Ensure compliance with state regulations and ABA guidelines
• Engage families through open, ongoing communication
