Job summary

CVS Health in California seeks a Licensed Beauty Sales Consultant for its beauty retail division. You will provide world-class service, upsell products, demonstrate features, and represent CVS and partner brands while performing ear-piercing and other in-store services.

You must hold a current Cosmetology/Esthetician license, maintain it, and complete assessments. Flexible retail schedule, 40 hours/week, base pay $18.90–$27.90 per hour, eligible for benefits; opportunity to grow with a leading

Qualifications

• Must possess a current and valid Cosmetology/Esthetician License in the state in which you will be working.
• Must maintain an active Cosmetology/Esthetician license at all times in the state you are employed.
• CVS Licensed Beauty Sales Consultants must demonstrate the ability and willingness to perform ear-piercing services in all stores.
• Must pass all required skills assessments and training courses to fully execute paid service options.
• Ability to use sales data with product/brand knowledge to meet sales and beauty service goals.
• Strong interpersonal, organizational and communication skills.
• Goal-driven, with an ability to multi-task.
• Available to work a flexible retail schedule including mornings, evenings, weekends and peak hours.
• Bi-lingual beauty advisors that can speak to customers in English and Spanish in some stores.

Responsibilities

• Seek out customers to ensure they have a world class beauty advisor experience.
• Provide personalized sales service based on customer needs, upselling and suggestive selling.
• Maneuver conversations to stimulate sales and product adoption.
• Be the brand expert by answering questions with product knowledge to maximize the sales basket.
• Engage customers with CVS services, Beauty Club programs and explain promotions to close sales.
• Represent CVS and partner brands and uphold high service standards.
• Educate customers by demonstrating proper product usage and benefits to drive conversions.
• Manage time between consultations, services and walk-ins.
