Sephora in Austin is hiring a Licensed Beauty Advisor to guide clients through beauty journeys, provide services like makeup and waxing, and share product knowledge. You’ll promote a welcoming shopping experience, stay licensed and hygienic, and work with a diverse team to meet store goals.

The role emphasizes service excellence, ongoing education, and a positive, inclusive environment. Part-time with variable hours, evenings and weekends required.

Qualifications

• Active license to provide waxing, makeup, and false application services in the state where the services are performed.
• 1–3 years' experience in a similar role or in a retail, hospitality, or service environment.
• Strong knowledge of beauty products, services, trends and techniques.
• Ability to deliver personalized client service and build lasting relationships.
• Teamwork and a collaborative, goal‑oriented mindset.
• Physically able to lift and carry up to 50 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Drive results by providing and rebooking beauty services, servicing clients, and selling products.
• Perform makeup, waxing, and other services listed in Sephora’s Beauty Services menu.
• Maintain licensure and uphold hygiene standards.
• Foster inclusiveness and teamwork within the store.
• Uphold Sephora standards and ensure a safe, secure, and enjoyable shopping experience.
