Job summary

Sephora DC-Connecticut Ave is seeking a Licensed Beauty Advisor to guide clients at the Beauty Studio, perform services, and help shoppers discover products. This part-time role requires an active license for waxing, makeup, and related services.

Qualifications

Active license to provide waxing, makeup, and false application services in the state where the services are performed.
1-3 years' experience in a similar role or in a retail, hospitality, or service environment.
Strong knowledge of beauty products, services, trends, and techniques.
Demonstrated ability to deliver personalized client service and build lasting relationships.
Team player who thrives in a collaborative and goal-oriented environment.
Quick learner with ability to absorb and share product knowledge effectively.
Physically able to lift and carry up to 50 pounds.

Responsibilities

Drive results by achieving store goals through beauty services, rebooking, servicing clients, and selling products
Perform beauty services: makeup, waxing, and other services listed in Sephora’s Beauty Services menu. Stay informed about trends to educate and empower clients
Maintain licensure and uphold hygiene standards
Foster inclusiveness and teamwork
Uphold Sephora standards and create a safe, secure, and enjoyable shopping experience for all
