Job summary

Sephora CT-Danbury Fair is seeking a Licensed Beauty Advisor to guide clients on their beauty journey at the Beauty Studio and beyond. You’ll be a beauty expert, educating clients with product knowledge and personalized recommendations in a fast-paced retail setting.

This part-time role requires an active license for waxing, makeup, and related services, and a commitment to inclusive service. Expect a flexible schedule, with the opportunity to grow within Sephora’s supportive team.

Qualifications

• Active license to provide waxing, makeup, and false application services in the state
• 1–3 years' experience in a similar role or in retail/hospitality/service
• Strong knowledge of beauty products, services, trends and techniques
• Demonstrated ability to deliver personalized client service and build lasting relationships
• Team player who thrives in a collaborative and goal-oriented environment
• Quick learner with ability to absorb and share product knowledge effectively
• Physically able to lift and carry up to 50 pounds

Responsibilities

• Drive results by helping achieve store goals through services, rebooking, servicing clients, and selling products
• Provide makeup, waxing, and other services listed in Sephora’s Beauty Services menu; stay informed on trends and product knowledge
• Maintain licensure and uphold hygiene standards; follow health and safety protocols
• Foster inclusiveness and teamwork to promote a culture of openness
• Uphold Sephora standards and help create a safe, secure, and enjoyable shopping experience for all
