Job summary

CVS Health is hiring a Licensed Beauty Sales Consultant for our beauty retail division. You will engage customers, provide expert product advice, perform licensed services including ear piercing where offered, and drive sales in a fast-paced CVS store environment.

Role requires maintaining license, completing assessments, and traveling to events as needed. Flexible schedule and bilingual abilities may be required depending on location.

Qualifications

• Must possess a current and valid Cosmetology/Esthetician License
• Must maintain an active Cosmetology/Esthetician license at all times and display during working hours
• Must pass required skills assessments and training courses to fully execute paid service options
• Ability to use sales data with product/brand knowledge to meet sales and beauty service goals
• Strong interpersonal, organizational and communication skills
• Ability to multi-task and work independently or as part of a team
• Available to work at a CVS store and travel to sales programs and events as needed
• Flexible retail schedule including mornings, evenings, weekends and peak hours
• Nevada license makeup artist/registration if applicable
• Bi-lingual English/Spanish in specific stores
• Must be at least 18 years old
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred but not required

Responsibilities

• Seek out customers to ensure world class beauty advisor experience
• Provide personalized sales service based on customer needs and upsell
• Answer customer questions with product knowledge to maximize sales
• Educate customers by demonstrating proper product usage and highlighting features/benefits
• Represent CVS and partner brands and uphold high standards of service
• Perform ear-piercing and other services where offered and pass proficiency assessments
• Maintain displays and execute promotional materials
• Participate in sales programs and events
• Maintain a clean, well-stocked, compliant selling area
• Be a beauty expert; stay updated on trends and techniques
