Job summary

CVS Health is seeking a Licensed Beauty Sales Consultant for its beauty retail division. You will provide world-class customer service, upsell, and act as a brand expert across CVS and partner products. Ear-piercing and other services may be required in stores where you work.

Responsibilities include maintaining displays, participating in events, and ensuring hygiene standards. A Cosmetology/Esthetician license is required and bilingual ability in English/Spanish is a plus depending on location.

Qualifications

• Must possess a current and valid Cosmetology/Esthetician License in the state.
• License must be displayed during working hours as mandated by the state.
• Must pass all required skills assessments and training courses to offer paid services.
• Ability to use sales data with product/brand knowledge to meet sales and beauty service goals.
• Bi-lingual in English and Spanish in some locations.
• Must be at least 18 years old.
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Seek out customers to ensure a world class beauty advisor experience.
• Provide personalized sales service based on customer needs, upselling and suggestive selling.
• Be the brand expert by answering customer questions with product knowledge to maximize sales.
• Engage customers with CVS Beauty Club programs and explain promotions to close sales.
• Represent CVS and partner brands while upholding high service standards.
• Educate customers by demonstrating proper product usage and benefits to drive conversions.
• Maintain time between consultations, services and walk-ins.
• Display current Cosmetology/Esthetician license during all working hours.
