Job summary

Sephora USA, Inc. is seeking a Licensed Beauty Advisor to join our Durham store, part-time, hourly wage. You will guide clients through beauty services, educate on trends, and build lasting relationships while maintaining licensure and hygiene standards.

The role requires reliability, inclusivity, and strong product knowledge. Expected shifts cover peak retail times; a license to perform waxing and makeup services is required, with 1–3 years in a similar role or in retail/service.

Qualifications

• Active state license to provide waxing and makeup services.
• 1–3 years' experience in beauty/retail/service.
• Strong knowledge of beauty products, trends, and techniques.
• Ability to deliver personalized client service and build relationships.
• Team player in a goal-oriented environment.
• Physically able to lift up to 50 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Drive results by providing and rebooking beauty services, servicing clients, and selling products.
• Provide makeup, waxing, and other services listed in Sephora's Beauty Services menu; stay informed about trends and product knowledge to educate clients.
• Maintain licensure and uphold hygiene standards.
• Foster inclusiveness and teamwork to promote a culture of openness.
• Uphold Sephora standards and contribute to a safe, secure shopping experience.
