Job summary

Sephora in Santa Monica is seeking a Licensed Beauty Advisor to guide clients through their beauty journey at the Beauty Studio and beyond. You’ll apply makeup, perform waxing, and share product knowledge to educate and empower customers.

You must be licensed to perform waxing and makeup services in the state, with 1–3 years in a similar role or in retail, hospitality, or service settings. Strong product knowledge, client service, and a team mindset are essential.

Qualifications

• Active license to provide waxing, makeup, and false application services in the state where services are performed.
• 1-3 years of experience in a similar role or in retail, hospitality, or service environments.
• Strong knowledge of beauty products, services, trends, and techniques.

Responsibilities

• Drive results by helping achieve store goals, rebooking beauty services, servicing clients, and selling products.
• Perform beauty services including makeup and waxing as listed in Sephora’s menu and stay informed on trends and products.
• Maintain licensure and uphold hygiene standards, ensuring licenses stay active and health and safety rules are followed.
• Foster inclusiveness and teamwork, promoting a culture of openness where everyone feels empowered.
• Uphold Sephora standards by following company policies and contributing to a safe, secure, and enjoyable shopping experience for all.
