You will assess patients, assist physicians, perform procedures (e.g., ultrasound, injections, casting), educate patients, and coordinate care across departments.

Qualifikationen

• Master's Degree in Athletic Training.
• Knowledge of principles and skills needed to provide patient care.
• Knowledge of medical equipment and instruments to provide patient care.

Aufgaben

• Patient Assessment: Conduct thorough patient histories, perform physical exams and interpret findings to assist in diagnosis.
• Clinical Support: Assist physicians with diagnostic and therapeutic procedures, including musculoskeletal ultrasound, injections, casting, and aspiration.
• Patient Education: Provide pre- and post-operative education and guidance on rehabilitative exercises.
• Referrals and Communication: Collaborate with physicians for referrals, tests, procedures, and follow-up care.
• Medical Documentation: Update patient records with dictations, test results, and referral forms.
• Scheduling & Coordination: Assist with scheduling surgeries and tests, and help with pre-certification for procedures and claims.
