Job summary

White Pine and Gracewood Senior Living is seeking an Assisted Living Director to lead daily operations and build a strong team aligned with our vision to serve people better than anywhere else.

As part of our team you will oversee compliance, budgeting, admissions, and community relationships while guiding staff to deliver high-quality resident care. This role requires LALD licensure and proven leadership in senior care; a passion for service is essential.

Qualifications

• LALD license issued by BELTSS is required.
• Experience working with seniors and dementia care.
• Strong leadership and team-building abilities.
• Excellent problem-solving, organizational, and communication skills.
• Fluent in reading, writing, speaking English.

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day operations of the community, ensuring compliance and financial management.
• Build and maintain an impactful leadership team within the community.
• Develop relationships with the community and agencies to raise awareness of the organization.
• Oversee tours, assist with sales and admissions to serve residents.
• Manage workers' compensation, FMLA, unemployment claims, payroll, food costs, employee files and overall financial success.

Licensed Assisted Living Director responsibilities may include:

• Responsible for the operational performance of community which includes: ensuring compliance with rules and regulations, employee performance, budgeting and operational management.
• Build and maintains an impactful leadership team within the community.
• Build relationships within the community and other agencies to bring awareness of our organization as well as establish a positive presence in the local community.
• Oversee the tour, assist with sales and admission process for incoming residents and families to ensure they are being served better than anywhere else.
• Manage work comp claims, FMLA, unemployment claims, payroll, food costs, employee files and overall financial success of building.

Qualifications:

• Licensed Assisted Living Director (LALD) by BELTSS Board; Required
• Experience working with senior adults and serving those with a dementia diagnosis.
• Strong leadership and team building skills.
• Highly skilled at problem solving, organization and communication.
• Positive attitude and desire to serve others.
• Ability to read, write, speak & understand the English language.
