Sport Clips Haircuts in Mount Airy is hiring an Assistant Salon Manager to support daily salon operations, lead a high-performing team, and deliver an exceptional client experience. This role is ideal for an experienced licensed hair stylist, barber, or cosmetologist eager to grow into leadership while continuing to cut hair.

You will coach stylists, help with scheduling, and maintain salon standards, with evenings and weekends required. Join a locally owned team focused on growth and service.

Qualifications

• Active Maryland Cosmetology or BarberLicense required.
• Experience as a hair stylist or barber (men’s cutting preferred).
• Previous salon leadership or team lead experience preferred (but not required).
• Passion for customer service and team development.
• Availability to work evenings and weekends as needed.

Responsibilities

• Support salon leadership with daily operations and team coordination.
• Coach and develop stylists to deliver a consistent MVP client experience.
• Assist with scheduling, opening/closing duties, and salon standards.
