Job summary

EssilorLuxottica is seeking an Assistant Manager in Valley Stream, NY to lead the team in the Store Manager's absence and act as a business owner on the floor. You will drive sales, monitor KPIs, and ensure excellent customer service while maintaining compliance with Company policies.

Responsibilities include training staff, assisting with recruitment, and delivering a positive shopping experience for eyewear and related services. Requires an Opticianry license and prior management experience.

Qualifications

• Must have high school diploma or equivalent.
• Current state Opticianry license is required.
• 1+ year of management or supervisory experience with direct reports.
• Strong knowledge of retail operations and policies.
• Excellent communication and selling skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead store team in absence of the Store Manager and support overall store performance.
• Drive KPIs including sales, conversion, customer count, and profitability.
• Provide training and feedback to team members.
• Assist with recruitment and staffing plans.
• Maintain store appearance and comply with company policies.
