Job summary

MAAC in San Diego is seeking counselors to support DUI program cases and recovery home residents. You will provide case management, assessments, and counseling to help residents achieve treatment goals within supervised settings.

Under direct supervision, you will conduct interviews, maintain files, and coordinate with parole and social services while ensuring compliance with credentialing and program policies.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of substance use disorders and counseling approaches.
• Experience documenting case notes and progress in records.
• Bilingual English/Spanish a plus.
• Must meet credentialing requirements (CCAPP/CADTP).

Responsibilities

• Screen applicants for admission or referral to a program.
• Conduct assessments of substance use history and needs.
• Develop and monitor individual recovery plans (IRPs).
• Provide individual and group counseling sessions and workshops.
• Maintain resident records and assist with reports and compliance.
