Job summary

Recover Medical Group in California is seeking a DUI Counselor to educate, counsel, and support individuals in court-mandated or DMV-referred DUI programs. You will lead group and individual sessions, ensure compliance with Title 9 regulations, and help clients meet legal and behavioral health requirements for program completion.

This full-time role may include evening or weekend hours to accommodate class schedules, and reports to the Program Manager.

Qualifications

• 1+ year experience providing substance use counseling services (DUI/outpatient preferred).
• Knowledge of Title 9 DUI Program regulations and documentation requirements.
• Certified or registered CADC-I, CADC-II or equivalent DHCS-recognized credential.
• Strong organizational and communication skills essential.

Responsibilities

• Facilitate DUI education and counseling groups using approved curricula.
• Conduct individual counseling sessions and client check-ins in line with Title 9 and timelines.
• Complete intake, orientation and exit interviews with clear program expectations.
• Maintain accurate documentation in the EHR and other tracking systems.
